Hormone optimization
Care for women in perimenopause and menopause, and for men considering testosterone therapy. We start with a consultation and appropriate testing, then decide together what is reasonable.
Overview
What this program is
Sleep, mood, energy, body composition and libido can all shift as hormones change. Those symptoms have more than one possible cause, so we look at the whole picture before discussing treatment.
Your provider reviews your history, current medications and any prior lab work. Where testing is clinically appropriate, we order it and review the results with you in plain language.
If bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is suitable, we discuss delivery options, monitoring and follow up. If it is not suitable, we say so and talk about what else may help.
- A consultation focused on symptoms, history and goals
- Diagnostic testing where clinically appropriate, reviewed with you
- A written plan with monitoring intervals
- Follow up visits to adjust as your response becomes clear

Common questions
- Do I need lab work before my first visit
- Not necessarily. Bring any recent results you have. Your provider will decide what testing is appropriate after the consultation.
- Is hormone therapy right for everyone
- No. Candidacy depends on your history, current health and risk factors. That assessment happens during consultation with a licensed clinician.
- How long before I notice a change
- It varies by person and by therapy. Your provider will set expectations for your specific plan and schedule follow up accordingly.

Candidacy, risks, benefits and options are determined during a consultation with a licensed clinician. Individual results vary.
Start with a consultation
We begin with a conversation about your goals, your history and what is realistic. Your provider will review options with you before anything is planned.
